Private Eye – Vintage Tape Machine

Got opportunity to work on this asset for the upcoming VR game – Private Eye. This was a really fun asset to work on, because of the intricate mechanics of the thing and the fact that II was able to do it fairly quickly (1 day for high poly and low poly bake, 2 days for assembling and Substance Painter Work) The model wasn`t even put together as a high-poly, the workflow was to model each of the individual components separately, to bake them and assemble the low-poly afterwards. This presented some interesting challenges as I didn’t see the complete model until late in the process.
